NEWS AND EVENTS

  • (PASET-RSIF) The current 82 Cohort 1 and 2 RSIF PhD Students have established a student committee to coordinate student activities and liaison. Mr. Noel Gahamanyi, Cohort I, is the first Chair of the Student Committee.
  • (PASET-RSIF) The RCU at icipe is hosting the inaugural RSIF Student Seminar Series in partnership with the RSIF Student Committee this week. In each seminar, two RSIF scholars will present their research work or proposal to other RSIF scholars and African Host Universities (AHU) faculty. The presenters will benefit from constructive criticism and new ideas on how to improve their work. First out were cohort I scholars Jean-Baptiste Habinshuti and Noel Gahamanyi.
  • Energy: Solar Photovoltaic Power Potential by Country. The report is based on data provided by the World Bank through the Global Solar Atlas, a free, web-based tool providing the latest data on solar resource potential globally.
